Description
Austin singer-songwriter Molly Burch reimagines the holiday season with a distinctive take on festive classics and originals. This candy cane vinyl features beloved standards like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Auld Lang Syne” alongside regional favorites such as “Hard Candy Christmas” and “Snowqueen of Texas.” The album shines with spirited renditions of ABBA’s “Happy New Year” and a witty cover of Wham’s “Last Christmas,” enhanced by guest appearances from comedians John Early and Kate Berlant. Produced by Will Paterson and Jarvis Taveniere, the collection balances timeless holiday charm with Burch’s original compositions, creating an album that appeals to both devoted Christmas music enthusiasts and skeptics alike.
