Faye Webster – Underdressed at the Symphony – Vinyl Record

Description

Faye Webster’s songs connect with the human subconscious and her album, Underdressed at the Symphony, captures the journey of rebuilding oneself after a breakup. Recorded with her band at Sonic Ranch Studios, the album features a mix of instruments including pedal steel, drums, and guitar from Wilco’s Nels Cline. The title is a nod to Webster’s impromptu visits to the symphony for therapeutic reasons. The track “Lego Ring,” featuring Lil Yachty, offers a moment of lightheartedness in the midst of heartbreak. Instead of seeking answers, Webster chooses to document both heartache and absurd moments, allowing them to blend together in a relatable journey.
