Yo La Tengo – There’s A Riot Going On – Vinyl Record

Description

Yo La Tengo‘s 2018 release Theres a Riot Going On marks a bold shift into ambient, experimental territory. Named after Sly and the Family Stone’s 1971 album, it leans into personal, introspective themes rather than overt politics. The songs drift with subdued melodies, layering texture to create an immersive, hypnotic soundscape. This double LP preserves the band’s emotional depth while pushing their indie rock sensibilities into new, exploratory edges.
