Debuting at #1 across both the U.S. and U.K., Use Your Illusion II prevented its companion album from claiming the top spot and has been considered by many to be its superior due to its more serious and encompassing tone. Lead single “You Could Be Mine” was featured in the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the album containing a total of 14 tracks. These spanned from covers such as Bob Dylans Knocking On Heavens Door,” to Get In the Ring,” a cutting critique of their enemies and critics, and an alternative version of “Dont Cry.” Kerrang! Magazine dubbed the album balladic, bluesy, experimental and peppered with genius.
