Khruangbin – Mordechai – Vinyl Record

Description

The third studio album by Houston-based instrumental trio Khruangbin, “Mordechai” is a magical journey through a world of dreamy, psychedelic funk. Released in 2020, the vinyl record edition of the album is a work of art, featuring stunning cover art and a warm, organic sound that brings the album’s grooves to life. The album itself is a marvel of musical imagination, blending the band’s signature Thai-inspired sound with influences ranging from disco to surf rock. Standout tracks like “Time (You and I)” and “So We Won’t Forget” feature lush, evocative instrumentation that is both hypnotic and uplifting. Khruangbin’s musicianship is second to none, with each member contributing to a sound that is greater than the sum of its parts. “Mordechai” is a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity, and a must-listen for any fan of innovative, genre-defying music.
