Description
Real Estate’s 2011 album Days is a lush and dreamy indie rock album that conjures up nostalgic feelings for long summer days and hazy memories. The band’s laid-back style and intricate guitar work create a sense of wistfulness and reflection, as the songs explore themes of longing, loss, and the passage of time. From the shimmering melodies of “It’s Real” to the introspective musings of “Green Aisles,” Days is an album that invites the listener to slow down and take in its subtle beauty. It’s a perfect soundtrack for lazy afternoons and quiet contemplation, a musical escape to a more peaceful time.
