Cat Power- Moon Pix Vinyl Record

Moon Pix, released on Matador Records in ’98, stands as a testament to the subconscious and the power of artistic endurance. After Marshall had planned to retire from music, a haunting dream drove her back to the studio. Out of this vision, Moon Pix was born in one creative burst and the result is a beautiful mix of introspective lyrics and luscious instrumentation. Recorded in Melbourne with Dirty Three’s Mick Turner and Jim White, the album is an impressive showcase of Marshall’s unique vision. It’s testament to the spirit of artistry that even troubled souls can produce great work. So let’s salute this remarkable feat and offer gratitude for creative courage!
