Tycho – Awake Remixes – Deep Blue Color Vinyl

Description

Scott Hansen, the San Francisco musician known as Tycho, reached new heights with “Awake.” This album truly embodied Tycho’s sound and marked the arrival of a full band. A 12″ remix edition now offers a fresh take on the beloved tracks.

Featuring artists like Baio from Vampire Weekend and RJD2, these remixes maintain Tycho’s core elements while adding a unique spin. Baio brings soulfulness to “Plains,” RJD2 transforms “Apogee” into tranquil funk, and Few Nolder turns “Montana” into a tense, driving track.

Additional remixes by Com Truise, Christopher Willits, Bibio, and Beacon complete the package, providing an alternative perspective on Tycho’s breakthrough album. The “Awake Remixes” present a compelling parallel narrative for fans to explore.
