Description
Marshall Crenshaw is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist renowned for his hits Someday, Someway and Cynical Girl from his 1982 self-titled debut album. Credited for his contribution to new wave and power pop, the critical acclaim the album garnered earned it a spot in Rolling Stone’s top 100 albums of the 80s. With roots in Gene Vincent’s Lotta Lovin’, Crenshaw’s music displays an offbeat, sardonic New York flair.
