Formed in 1988 in Long Beach, CA, the legendary Sublime made waves with their debut LP, 40 oz. to Freedom. Certified double platinum, the record holds their signature sound of rap, punk, and hip-hop funk blended with ska, rock steady, and dancehall reggae, creating a powerful fusion of street and party music. Frontman Bradley Nowell wrote lyrics full of edgy yet emotive expression, backed by Eric Wilsons and Bud Gaughs agile rhythm section. A true masterpiece – Sublime’s 40 oz. to Freedom is an unforgettable experience!
