Description
Panda Bear, the solo project of Animal Collectives Noah Lennox, presents Tomboy, a landmark vinyl that shifts away from the sample-driven approach of Person Pitch toward guitar-led textures and lush synthscapes.
Recorded in a Lisbon studio, Tomboy traverses a wide emotional arc and spans indie, experimental, and psych-pop terrain. Lennox threads guitar lines with shimmering synths, weaving intimate vocals into expansive, cinematic soundscapes that reward attentive listening on repeat.
- Guitar-forward arrangements and lush synthesizers drive the records heartbeat
- Recorded in Lisbon, capturing a bright, sun-drenched production aesthetic
