Hayley Williams – Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party – Yellow “26 Highlighter” Color Vinyl

Description

After more than 20 years of fulfilling their contract with Atlantic Records a deal Williams signed as a teenager Paramore announced in December 2023 that they are now an independent band. This exciting new collection is self-released by Hayley Williams through her fresh venture, Post Atlantic. These songs mark the third batch of work Williams has shared as a solo artist. During the pandemic, she released two remarkable albums2020’s “Petals For Armor” and 2021’s “Flowers for Vases”. Both albums are beautiful and honest reflections on loss, offering a gentle contrast to the energetic and upbeat style Paramore is known for. Pitchfork described *Petals* as a record epitomizing vulnerability and transformative growth, showing a more mature and introspective side of Williams. The review also praised “Flowers”, highlighting how “her voice is undoubtedly the standout feature… husky and gentle, dangerous yet warm,” and noted that the minimal production “makes this a purposeful reset.”
