Parlor Greens – In Green We Dream – Opaque Green Vinyl Record

Description

Parlor Greens’ debut LP, In Green We Dream, anchors heavy instrumental grooves with a nimble organ trio. On Colemine Records, this album captures a moment of instant chemistry and forward-thinking soul-jazz energy.

The trio features Tim Carman (GA-20) on drums, Jimmy James on guitar, and Adam Scone (Scone Cash Players, The Sugarman 3) on organ, delivering pockets that swing and sparkle with every track.

Pressed on opaque green vinyl, the two-sided LP features eleven cuts, ten originals, and captures the group’s chemistry straight from the Portage Lounge studio.

Recorded to a Tascam 388 and mixed with a warm, dirty edge, the sound sits between Blue Note-era soul and funk-fueled groove.
