Sisters of Mercy – A Greatest Hits, Vol. 1: A Slight Case of Overbombing – Vinyl Record Import

Description

This compilation of the Sisters of Mercy’s greatest hits is an absolute must for fans of gothic rock. Gathered together from the band’s three major-label releases, A Slight Case of Overbombing has something for everyone. With powerful, edgy anthems like the galloping “This Corrosion” and the epic “More” (produced by Jim Steinman), the record also has a version of “Temple of Love” featuring Ofra Haza and an unreleased track, “Under the Gun.” Andrew Eldritch’s passionate vocals and the strength of the music more than make up for its lyrical and tonal shortcomings, and the casual fan will be more than satisfied!
