Description
The Replacements Tim, the band’s fourth studio album originally released in 1985, is presented here on vinyl. This LP marks a shift away from their punk-influenced roots, embracing country and folk-tinged songwriting that broadened their sound and expanded their appeal. The album’s lead single, “Bastards of Young”, became one of the band’s most popular songs and remains an anthem for disaffected youth. While Tim drew mixed reviews at release, it has since been reappraised as a cornerstone of alternative rock and a testament to the band’s evolving craft.
Format: Vinyl LP. This edition offers warm analog tones that capture the album’s melodic hooks and storytelling, making it a must-have for collectors seeking a pivotal 1980s record.
