Description
Limited to a 180-gram vinyl LP, this album comes housed in a poly-lined inner sleeve, and includes an obi strip and a 4-page booklet insert. The London Suede’s self-titled debut, released in March 1993 under the name The London Suede in the US, was a huge success both critically and commercially. The album won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize for Album Of The Year and reached the #1 spot on the UK Album Chart. It features classic singles such as ‘The Drowners’, ‘Animal Nitrate’, ‘So Young’, and ‘Metal Mickey’, and sold 100,000 copies in its first week, making it the fastest-selling debut album ever in the UK at the time. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of this landmark album, Edsel has released a newly mastered edition.
