Description

Molchat Doma’s 2020 album “” (Etazhi) is a stunning follow-up to their acclaimed debut, “S Krysh Nashikh Domov”. The album was released on vinyl, including a beautiful “Coke Bottle Clear” color variant. Once again, the band showcases their unique blend of post-punk, new wave, and synth-pop, with lyrics sung entirely in Russian that evoke a sense of melancholy and introspection. Through “”, Molchat Doma explores themes of urban life, existentialism, and the human condition, with lyrics that are deeply poetic and thought-provoking. From the haunting opening track “” (Utonem) to the pulsating rhythms of “” (Tantsevat), the album takes the listener on a journey that is both introspective and cathartic.

With “”, Molchat Doma solidifies their place as one of the most exciting and original bands in the modern post-punk and synth-pop scenes, and the “Coke Bottle Clear” vinyl variant is a beautiful addition to any record collection.
