Description
Experience the raw talent of Pixies with this vintage demo cassette recorded in 1987 at Boston’s Fort Apache studios. Known as ‘The Purple Tape’, this 17-song recording caught the attention of label 4AD, leading to the release of eight demos (slightly remixed) as the legendary band’s debut, ‘Come On Pilgrim’. The remaining tracks were later re-recorded and released on various albums and singles, except for the elusive ‘Rock A My Soul’. Discover these unreleased gems in their original form on this Random Color Vinyl Record.
