Breeders, The – Pod – Vinyl Record

Description

Pod by The Breeders, released in 1990, is widely regarded as one of the decade’s defining debuts. This vinyl record captures the band’s raw energy and hook-filled guitars, engineered by Steve Albini in a brisk 10-day session. The album earned broad critical acclaim and even drew praise from Kurt Cobain, who named it one of his all-time favorites.

Pressed to preserve that immediate, live feel, Pod on vinyl delivers punchy drums, crisp bass, and Kim Deal’s characterful vocals with lasting clarity. It’s an essential piece for collectors chasing foundational 90s indie rock and the era’s reputation for daring, lofi production. Whether you’re pairing it with other landmark releases or exploring Albini’s engineering approach, this pressing is built to be spun again and again.
