Description
Oregon’s Blitzen Trapper, under Sub Pop and Vagrant Records, is a highly successful modern band, with Eric Earley at the helm, hailed by Paste as the “Tom Petty of the Northwest.” Earley’s songs are reminiscent of familiar tales, and his band’s simple, yet epic sound appeals to a wide audience – a remarkable accomplishment in today’s fragmented music scene. Blitzen Trapper, accompanied by swampy Floridian opener Lauris Vidal, brought their Pacific Northwestern flair to the Blue Room Stage on March 16, 2016.
