U2’s October album has been re-mastered and pressed on 180g virgin vinyl! The packaging has been restored and expanded with new liner notes for every title, along with previously unpublished photos and complete lyrics.
This remastered version from 2008 revisits the original 1981 release. October showcases spiritual themes, influenced by Bono, the Edge, and Mullen’s connections to a Christian group known as the “Shalom Fellowship.” The album explores the tension between Christian faith and the rock and roll lifestyle, featuring tracks like “Gloria” and “I Threw A Brick Through A Window.”
