Description
Released July28,2023 on George Clantons own 100% Electronica label, OohRapIYa is his first solo album in five years. Its sound draws from psychedelic trip-hop, 90s baggy rhythms, and ambient chillwave, built around candid songwriting and glossy production. In tracks like I Been Young, Justify Your Life, and the anthemic title track, Clanton blends introspective lyrics with washed-out synths, shoegaze guitar, and cinematic dynamics. Critics highlighted the albums nostalgic palette and emotional intimacy.
